Guy Kawasaki's 8 iPhone questions
With all the iPhone hype and bluster around, it's sometimes easy to forget that we really don't know a lot of the intimate details about the hallowed device.
Guy Kawasaki, long-term Apple evangelist, has been musing on a few questions... whilst his 11-year-old son does odd jobs around the house to raise the $500 needed to buy one.
His questions focus on:
1. Battery life: what's it like with Bluetooth, wi-fi, and iTunes all running
2. Cingular network & EDGE
3. Lack of hardware keypad: lack of tactile hardware
4. Is there voice navigation?
5. Texting without a keypad
6. Is the price too high?
7. Problems with sealed battery
8. Impact of closed system
Apart from a few rather daft quotes (that those commenting have already flamed him for) such as "Can a person dial an eleven-digit number without looking at the touchscreen [whilst driving] at sixty mph?", he raises some good points.
