iPhone will spearhead new Apple products and propel growth
A new report from UBS analysts suggests that Apple will put the iPhone's multi-touch touch-screen functionality into other major hardware products within three to five years, with touch-screen Macs coming as early as next year.
Now they've developed the technology and have the rights to use it, that's not much of a surprise.
"We also expect new touch-screen video iPods, ultra portables, more phones and possibly even TVs in the future," said analyst Ben Reitzes.
