iPhone battery may have better life than advertised
Beyond the slippery iPhone rumour, the same source has suggested that the iPhone has a better battery life than Apple advertised in their preliminary specifications.
The 'source' claims up to 5 hours of talk / video / browsing, and up to 16 hours of audio playback.
If true, none of this is particularly surprising.
Given widespread criticism of iPod battery life, Apple may be using a "under promise, over deliver" strategy. Far better to claim a lower battery life and have the device perform better, than vice versa.
In any case, every user will experience different results based on how they use the iPhone.
