Mike Lazaridis talks iPhone and tactile keyboards
It seems that Research In Motion's CEO, Mike Lazaridis, has plenty of time to talk about the iPhone, even when his company is busy sorting out their recent network problems.
"What the iPhone does is make smart phones mainstream. It's raising all the boats in the harbour. People are now saying smart phones are the wave of the future. BlackBerrys are at the core of that," he said.
Ahh, so it's not all complimentary.
Lazaridis believes that the majority of people want a well-designed, tactile keyboard, not a touch screen one.
