Ainol’s V2000 iPhone lookalike - not even a phone
The Ainol’s V2000 device might fit better on a site about iPod killers, as it's not even a phone. Nevertheless, its design has set tongues wagging.
In fact it's a portable multimedia games console that handles a number of audio and video formats, along with emulation for retro gaming including NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, and the NeoGeo.
It comes with an audio recorder and FM radio, up to 4GB of storage on SD cards, and using a 600MHz ADI Blackfin chip.
As SlashGear reports, it's unlikely to make it out of China, either, so it's unlikely to kill the iPod, either.
It's also got too many physical buttons to make it an iPhone clone.
