BlackBerry Curve 8300 to rival the iPhone?
RIM yesterday launched the BlackBerry Curve 8300, amidst the usual rumble of "iPhone killer" voices.
I must admit, it does look quite good - for a BlackBerry.
Its curved body is done out in liquid silver finish with chrome highlights, and it even has light-sensing abilities like the iPhone.
The display is just 320x240 resolution, though, and I'm guessing you won't be watching many widescreen movies on that. The BlackBerry-style QWERTY keyboard takes up the real estate that could've been used for more screen.
Kitted out with a two megapixel camera with 5x digital zoom and flash, plus web browsing, RSS, and media management using Roxio's Media Manager.
If BlackBerry is your thing, then this could do you very nicely - but as I am prone to saying here at iPhonic, it's not an iPhone killer.
O2 are the first UK operator to get hold if it.
