Could iPhone version 2 have GPS?
The latest iPhone rumour circulating is that a second-generation iPhone could contain GPS functionality.
According to Apple Tech News, Apple would use "assisted GPS" that uses equipment in mobile phone towers to provide positioning in locations where GPS cannot be used due to poor satellite coverage.
Wouldn't it make sense to add this functionality to the 3G version that we're hoping comes to Europe?
Though 3G is the biggest feature missing, GPS is growing in popularity. Imagine being able to hook up a GPS-enabled iPhone with Google Maps, or the Yellow Pages search engine.
GPS is finding its way onto a number of mobiles now, so it's something Apple should seriously consider for future models if it wants to keep any launch advantage it gains.
If Apple do add such features, it'll be interesting to know whether AT&T or Apple stores would be able to perform "while you wait" upgrades to first-generation phones. Perhaps unlikely, but not impossible if the iPhone keeps the same form factor.

In addition to GPS capability, it is great if they add voice dial(or voice recognition) and 3G
