RIM patents re-configurable keyboards
Research in Motion has applied for a patent which could see future BlackBerrys sporting a reconfigurable keyboard.
It means that they could build physical keyboards that were more customisable. The keyboard could be slid into the device, leaving room for a larger screen.
Nothing's in production yet, but such a system could provide a worthy competitor to the iPhone, for those who still want a 'real' keyboard on their mobile device.
