AeON Wireless provides free, secure Wi-Fi access to iPhone users

AeON Wireless has announced that it's updated its AeONsafe wireless network to provide free access to its secured Wi-Fi public hotspots for iPhone users.

“AeONsafe generates keys that users copy to log into the secured network,” says Jing Wang, co-founder of AeON. “Since the iPhone lacks text copying, we allow iPhone users to create and tap in their own keys.”

AeON's system provides a patent-pending method for creating a secure wireless connection at public venues.

Over 600 iPhone users connected to the network during the first week following the phone's launch.
