Analyst expects RIM to bring out BlackBerry iPhone clone
According to Carmi Levy, senior vice-president of strategic consulting for AR Communications Inc, Research in Motion could well be working on a device to rival the iPhone.
In fact, he believes that you could bet your next mortgage payment on "the next design that mimics and probably leapfrogs the iPhone."
RIM has patented reconfigurable keyboards, and while CEO Michael Lazaridis has said that the iPhone and BlackBerry aren't in competition, you can be sure his company would love to develop something to rival Apple's phone.
