How to fake bad credit and get an iPhone on AT&T prepay

If you're blessed with good credit and don't want to be stuck on AT&T's two year contract deal with your new iPhone, then eCoustics has come up with a way to 'fake' bad credit.

The easiest way to fail the credit check during activation is to enter 999-99-9999 as your social security number.

When the check fails, a screen appears that gives you three options - one of which is a prepaid plan.

Easier than trying to hack your way out of AT&T, though of course if you still want to make phone calls, you'll be stuck on their network. It does mean you should be able to use the other functions of the iPhone without paying the huge monthly subscription.
