iPhone's glass screen: Liability?
Apple may well have added a toughened glass screen to their iPhone, and had people testing it on concrete sidewalks, but that hasn't stopped the following misfortune:
This accident was achieved by someone trying to answer a call on their iPhone while it was still plugged in and charging.
Perhaps Apple need to put MagSafe connectors on their iPhones, as they do on their MacBooks?
Fortunately, and probably as much for PR as for good customer service, Apple replaced the iPhone for free. That won't last for ever, though.
Is a 3.5 inch glass screen a liability, or do people just need to be careful? Very careful.
Have your say below, and if you already have an iPhone, tell us how you're planning on protecting it - apart from NOT smashing it into the edge of tables, of course.
