Amazon gets iPhone friendly
Amazon is the latest in a line of companies creating iPhone-friendly web site portals. Visiting Amazon.com on an iPhone will prompt users to jump to their optimised site.
Cut down for speed over an EDGE network, it removes a large portion of ads and images, but still provides access to a personal account, searches, and departments.
myiTablet reports that, while it's formatted for the iPhone, some of the search keys are rather small, and it's not optimised for multi-touch.
Hopefully, not every online company is going to create a fairly basic page and call it "iPhone optimised", otherwise we may as well surf using the normal site.
