Aussie hacker claims iPhone now unlocked for use on any network
An Australian iPhone hacker claims to have unlocked the iPhone completely so that it can be used on any network. It uses a device called Turbo SIM - a 'sleeve' which fits between the iPhone and a regular SIM card.
"Ozbimmer" claims he has had an iPhone working on the Telstra network, with another user getting results on Vodafone. It also appears that a number of the iPhone's functions work on both EDGE and GPRS networks.
Watch for Apple revoking this hack with the next software update.
