Don't melt your iPhone by leaving it in a hot car
Consumer Electronics' Dave Graveline has warned consumers not to leave their iPhone, or other electronic gadget, in a hot car, lest it melt.
The iPhone, which is already said to run hot, could have an exploding or oozing battery if exposed to the searing heat of a sunned car.
"One caller told me she burned her ear when she went to use a phone she left in the car," he said of a caller to his "Into Tomorrow' radio show.
No, it's not rocket science, but obviously enough people leave valuable items in hot places. The iPhone is one expensive gadget to melt.
