iPhone hacking for the rest of us: third party app installer released
Nullriver has just released a third-party application installer for the iPhone, potentially bringing the joys of hacking to a much wider audience — anyone scared of the command line and weird-looking instructions, in other words.
There's even a simple package that will first "Jailbreak" the iPhone, before installing the new application. After that, it works over-the-air, via EDGE or Wi-Fi, and comes complete with a selection of applications ready to try.
I wonder how many newbie hackers will freak out when Apple shuts down the hacks with the next iTunes sync?
