Orange executive says "no deal" on iPhone... yet
Despite this weeks authoritative-sounding article in the Financial Times claiming that the European mobile partners were signing a deal for the iPhone, Orange's executive director Louis-Pierre Wenes has said that no deal has been struck with Apple yet, with several operators still in talks.
He also added that a September launch would seem impossible, saying that it would be more likely to happen later in the fourth quarter, as Apple has already stated.
He made these statements in an interview with Paris Match magazine.
