PC World iPhone owners survey finds most satisfied
A survey of 500 iPhone owners conducted by PC World suggests that, just over a month after launch, most are pretty happy with their purchase.
90% of respondents said that they loved the iPhone, though 13% said that they'd had at least one significant problem with it.
The best features cited include the music and video playback, while 84% gave high marks for the phone itself - despite having some problems - and 83% were happy with the Safari browser and web experience.
Only 46% expressed satisfaction for the camera, while 62% noted the built-in widgets.
On the negative side, and not too surprisingly, 40% were dissatisfied with the speed of AT&T's EDGE network. Quality of voice calls was also noted as a bugbear for 39% of users.
13% said that they'd had a significant problem with the iPhone, with issues ranging from the battery to the touch screen to the Safari browser.
When it comes to future features, copying and pasting came up fairly high on the list, plus a call for true third-party applications, and greater customisation of ring tones. The lack of various technologies including instant messaging, Flash video, and MMS, were also requested.
Unsurprisingly, 3G and replaceable batteries were also on the wish list.
