Rumour: How to slow down iPhone sales - hide them
According to MacDailyNews readers, staff at some AT&T stores have been hiding iPhones, and only letting them out unless they're specifically requested.
If true, the reasoning could be that AT&T don't get so good a deal from Apple as they do from other mobile phones. "When asking to see the iPhone, some customers have reported being told to check out a BlackBerry Curve instead because it’s 'better'".
Can't be pleasing Apple, particularly when this stuff is touted around.
Then again, it could just be a bit o' fun.
