Tapatap cashes in on iPhone frenzy
Tapatap, which claims to be "the world's first mobile and web social contest community", is making the most of the touch screen and camera capabilities of the iPhone, by touting its service as the "iPhone application of choice among teen and Generation Y audiences".
Presumably they've heard about teen lust for the iPhone, and are confident that their photo contests will be entered by iPhone-wielding adolescents.
In fact, Tapatap works on most mobile devices, but the iPhone's built in two megapixel camera, email capabilities, plus the touchscreen, are apparently a winning combination for the service. The browsing experience is certainly enhanced on the iPhone's large screen.
As if that weren't enough iPhone bandwagon goodness for you, they're running an "I Wanna Win an iPhone" contest. "Tappers" can enter an original photo or artwork showing why they should win the new iPhone, with the most popular entry taking home an iPhone of their own.
