Deutsche Telekom reportedly gains rights to sell iPhone in five European countries
European iPhone rumours continue to bubble, ahead of a possible official announcement tomorrow.
The latest suggests that Deutsche Telekom may have secured the rights to distribute the iPhone in five European countries: Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Hungary, and Croatia.
If true, this continues to expand the group of European countries analysts believed Apple would initially sell in (UK, Germany, France).
Other speculation last week cited Telefónica's negotiations for an iPhone deal in Spain.
Could we see nearly every European Union country getting the iPhone at the same time?
Perhaps tomorrow's announcement holds the key.
