O2's UK iPhone deal speculations continue
Hopefully we've just one more day of rumour and speculation before Apple's plans for the iPhone in the UK are revealed.
The Guardian is just one paper talking as if the deal is already 100% confirmed and out in the open.
It isn't.
That doesn't stop them considering just how much O2 may have had to yield to Apple's demands in order to clinch this year's hottest gadget.
Last month's rumours suggested that mobile operators would give up 10% of the iPhone's revenue. However, O2 may have sacrificed up to 40% of all revenue to Apple.
The Carphone Warehouse re-enters the equation, too, said to be the UK's sole independent retailer for the iPhone.
