Rest of Europe wants the iPhone too
Now that the "big three" in Europe have at least sketchy details about the iPhone and which network will be carrying it, other European countries are understandably keen to get their hands on it, too.
According to a Marketwatch article, two Scandinavian mobile carriers — Telenor and TeliaSonera — are interested in bringing the iPhone to Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland, with Telenor also operating in some Central and Southern European countries.
It looks unlikely that other countries will get official iPhones before early 2008, but then again you never know exactly what Apple is going to do, and there'll certainly be a number of hacked iPhones doing the European tour come mid-November.
