Adventure Maker software allows easy iPhone game development
Adventure Maker is a free piece of PC software which allows a variety of point-and-click games, including puzzles and adventure games, to be created and ported to the iPhone and iPod Touch.
It boasts a simple interface in which to create graphical games, with the ability to import artwork, create interactive "hotspots", and add rudimentary code for the creation of more advanced puzzle/strategy games.
It's a shame that the development software is only available for the PC, though it does provide a way of getting games onto the PC, Sony PSP, and iPhone/iPod Touch, in one go.
It can be downloaded from AdventureMaker.com, with a demo game and guided tour and video available.
