Apple updates Quicktime and iTunes software in time for Euro iPhone launch
Apple has updated its Quicktime movie playing software to version 7.3, and upgraded iTunes to version 7.5, just in time for the UK and Germany's iPhone launch on Friday.
Among the changes in QuickTime include updated support for creating iPhone-compatible web content, as well as some critical security fixes and bug fixes not specifically related to iPhone use.
iTunes 7.5 allows the iPhone to be activated in any location where that service is offered — nothing more exciting than that for iPhone users.
The fairly hefty downloads (nearly 100MB between them) are available via the Mac's Software Update, or via the bundled update software in the PC versions of QuickTime and iTunes.
