Greenpeace to continue assault on European iPhone
According to several reports, Greenpeace is set to continue its assault on the iPhone, which it claims contains a number of environmentally unfriendly compounds, as it launches in Germany and the UK on Friday.
They continue to demand that the European version of the iPhone is sold without the brominated flame retardants and other toxic substances that it says it found in the US model when it was deconstructed in an Exeter laboratory.
Quite what this upstaging might involve isn't clear, as the front page of the Greenpeace UK's web site has moved on to other issues.
