Apple seemingly working on improved Exchange support for iPhone
According to a new job listing on the Apple web site, the company is looking for someone who can improve how the iPhone works with Microsoft Exchange email.
They're after a "motivated, highly-technical Exchange test/sync engineer with excellent problem solving and communication skills" who'll work on testing the iPhone with Exchange and Outlook.
Apple Insider speculates that Apple could be working on support for ActiveSync, which would allow for easy synchronisation of email, calendar items, and contacts on the iPhone, in much the same way as it currently does with Apple's home-grown iCal and Mail apps.
Maybe that's one reason down, nine to go.
