T-Mobile Germany able to sell locked iPhones again
On Tuesday, a German court ruled that it was legal for Deutsche Telekom (T-Mobile) to sell locked, contract-only iPhones in Germany.
In late November, Vodafone won a temporary injunction preventing T-Mobile from selling locked iPhones. This ruling overturns that.
I've not seen any reports detailing how many unlocked iPhones were sold during the "free for all" period. It's also not clear what will happen to those iPhones - whether they can continue to be used on any network, or whether they'll be locked during a subsequent update.
