Video recording on iPhone could be a possibility with new app
Many have bemoaned the iPhone's poor camera options, with one gripe being that there's no way to capture video using it. This is pretty much a basic requirement for any camera phone these days.
Now, Drunknbass has created an application for an iPhone (jailbroken, of course) which will allow the iPhone to be used as a rudimentary video camera.
Though the demo is very basic at present, only able to capture 10 fps video and with no way to store it, the developer is working on a version which can capture at up to 45fps, or store unlimited video at 30fps.
What'll be great is if this kind of app can make it as an official third-party add-on. Even better if Apple simply adds their own functionality.
