Bluetooth keyboard for iPhone may be imminent
According to Macworld, a MacAlly spokesperson at the Macworld Expo claimed that their $100 mini Bluetooth keyboard — the BTKeyMini — due out in March, can be used with the iPhone. This would allow you to use the physical keyboard to type into any iPhone application.
There are rumours that Apple is looking to somehow license the technology before rolling out Bluetooth keyboard compatibility.
Technically, it would hardly be difficult to allow any Bluetooth keyboard to be paired with the iPhone. It seems that there is some pent up demand for a wireless keyboard option for the iPhone — it would certainly make typing anything more than a few text messages more pleasurable.
