iPhone speaker not loud enough? Try a needle
DIY improvements to the iPhone are, of course, to be frowned upon (by Apple), so this "hack" to make the speaker louder should be attempted entirely at your own risk.
All you need is a needle, which you should then proceed to poke through all the holes on the iPhone's speaker.
Or, as Scorpiond describes:
I grabbed a needle and sticked it into every single tiny hold on the bottom left corner of the iPhone.
So there you go. Apparently some people were reporting an increase in volume by up to 40%. I have no idea if they used official measuring gear to attain that figure — but probably not.
Don't be surprised if your iPhone gets everyday crap in it after trying this, though.
