Apple to cut 16GB iPhone price, make 8GB version obsolete?
Rumours are emerging that Apple may be planning a US$100 price cut on the new 16GB iPhone, together with scrapping the 8GB model.
Though many murmurings, particularly ones related to Apple, can be safely discounted, Apple has already set a precedent for this, when it cut the price of the 8GB iPhone and scrapped the 4GB model a little over two months after launch.
Twice in less than a year really wouldn't go down too well with the Apple faithful (at least, those who've already bought an iPhone).
