HTC Touch Cruise coming to O2
It seems that O2's recent iPhone-inspired resurgence has encouraged it to roll out the HTC Touch Cruise, an iPhone-esque handset, to business users.
Branded as the O2 Xda Orbit 2, this HSDPA touchscreen device offers a host of features — including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, three megapixel camera — which surely makes it a serious challenger to the iPhone. Considering it also features Windows Mobile 6, it's an immediately more attractive option to business users.
It's free to business users, with a second handset costing £99.99. A consumer deal is due to be unveiled soon. Presuming it qualifies for O2's across-the-board unlimited data plan then it could prove a worthy opponent to the iPhone, particularly if it's free or considerably cheaper.
