Sony intros iPhone-friendly ICF-ClipMK2 clock radio dock

Sony may well be in competition with Apple, but that doesn't mean it can't cash in on the iPhone craze and bring out an iPhone-compatible clock radio dock.

The ICF-ClipMK2 (catchy name, eh?) features a wireless remote control, alarm clock with radio, adjustable backstop mechanism, and available in black or white.

Not much else to say about the unit, really. It's not super-exciting, but if you're in the market for such a device, then you could do worse than Sony. One thing the press release doesn't mention is whether it features shielding from the interference associated with mobile phones. If it does, great — if not, then you could be forced to choose between clear music or the ability to take phone calls.

In the US, it will cost around $100, and will be available from May.
