T-Mobile gets rights to iPhone in Austria
Oops — I must admit I thought that Austria had already got the iPhone, but a closer look at the two Apple stores (Germany and Austria) shows that's not the case.
Until now, at least.
T-Mobile has announced that it will be Apple's official partner in Austria, with rights to sell the iPhone there.
CEO Hamid Akhavan said that the iPhone would be available during the first half of this year, which gives them just over four months margin to set a launch date.
No major surprise, really.
