UBS makes iPhone predictions: 10m sold by September
UBS Securities has predicted that Apple could sell its ten-millionth iPhone by September 2008, and that a proportion of the number of handsets being unlocked are destined for countries where the device is currently not being sold.
Analyst Ben Reitzes said that the total number of unlocked iPhones for 2007 would likely be in the 800,000 range.
A 3G version of the iPhone that's expected this year would help Apple to achieve the 10m target earlier than predicted.
