Adobe may get Flash onto the iPhone
One of the key web technologies missing from the iPhone is Adobe's Flash, and it has been noted as something which detracts from the unit's "total Internet" claim.
However, that could be about to change, with reports that Adobe may be working on an iPhone-friendly version of their Flash software using the new SDK.
Though Apple has repeatedly stated that there's no version of Flash fit for the iPhone yet -- the mobile version is too restricted and the desktop version too processor intensive -- Adobe may be working on a specific version that works well with the iPhone.
Chief Executive Shantanu Narayen is quoted as saying "We have evaluated [the software developer tools] and we think we can develop an iPhone Flash player ourselves."
