Flash unlikely to make it onto iPhone
The iPhone's lack of Flash support has been one of its most glaring omissions to date -- apart from cut and paste perhaps -- and that doesn't look like it'll change any time soon.
Steve Jobs continues to say that the full-blown version of Flash runs too slowly on the iPhone (more accurately, perhaps, is that the iPhone runs Flash too slowly), and that Flash Lite is too limited.
Most Mac users, in particular, know what a performance hog Flash can be, particularly when confronted with badly written code that sucks processor time like a kid drinks milkshake.
That news probably won't go down well with those hoping to get a much fuller experience of the Web on the iPhone, or those wishing to develop Flash-based applications.
