Microsoft may be interested in developing for the iPhone
Despite the anti-iPhone rhetoric you'd expect from one of Apple's fiercest rivals, it seems that when there's the possibility of cash being made, Microsoft are up for developing applications for the iPhone.
The worrying part is that they reckon they'd develop a version of Office for the iPhone. Now, let's be honest, the Mac version of Office is hardly a sleek thoroughbred. How on earth is the bloatware going to make the iPhone anything but a snail -- or worse, a brick?
Should Microsoft pursue this, they'd have to do a deal with Apple, as most third-party developers won't have access to all the juicy bits of the iPhone's operating system that would be required to create something as monstrous as the Office suite.
