3G iPhone starting at $399, coming June, rumours suggest
More "industry sources" claiming knowledge of the forthcoming 3G iPhone. As a number of commentators have already predicted, it's due to launch at the WWDC08 in June, will come in several configurations, and start at US$399.
Apparently, the new iPhones will be slightly thinner -- around 2.5mm -- than the current models, with less of a "plasticky" feeling to the case.
No news of any additional hardware, so that possibly means the same lacklustre camera, and no dedicated GPS.
Also, if the 3G iPhone launches in the US in June, will it simultaneously launch in other countries which have it?
These are questions we'll not know the answer to until Apple decides to spill the beans.
