O2/CW iPhone price cut almost clears out stock
According to Mobile Today, last week's £100 price cut by O2 and The Carphone Warehouse caused stock level depletion at a number of stores across the UK within 48 hours.
O2 stores in Newcastle, London, and Birmingham had reportedly sold out of the 8GB iPhone. It's not clear whether more stock will be available, or if this really was a clearing out exercise by the two retailers.
