iPhone now completely sold out in US and UK
Finally, the last supplies of legal iPhones have dried up in both the UK and US.
Last week it seemed pretty clear that O2 had run out of iPhones despite their rather strange splash page, but the Apple Store was still selling both 8GB and 16GB models.
Today, as the above image shows (click for larger version), both models are unavailable. The same is true at the US Apple Store.
I don't believe this will cause any problem as no-one wants to buy the first generation iPhone any more. What it does is point to the next generation.
The only question left to answer (we know it's 3G, right?) is how long Apple will keep us waiting.
A month without any iPhone stock before Steve Jobs announces the next model at WWDC? Or could there be a shock announcement coming before that?
