Latest firmware suggests switchable 3G support in next iPhone
I haven't got round to installing the latest iPhone firmware yet, but reports suggest that it reveals more evidence for a 3G iPhone.
It shows a configuration screen with the option to turn on or off 3G support, with the caption "Using 3G loads data faster, but decreases battery life".
There seems little point having that in there if the second-gen iPhone won't support 3G. Then again, we all know it's coming soon.
