3G iPhone with GPS announced

Steve Jobs has announced a 3G iPhone with full GPS will be available shortly, as we approach the first anniversary of the iPhone.
It has a much improved battery, boasting standby time of 300 hours, 3G talk time of 5 hrs. browsing of 5-6 hrs, video of 7hrs and audio of 24hrs.
It's sleeker, has flush headphone jack, thinner edges, feels better in the hand.
The 3G network was demonstrated to be around 3.6 times faster than the EDGE network, with speeds approaching Wi-Fi.
The main reason people didn't buy the first iPhone was down to cost. The 8GB 3G iPhone will cost $199, 16GB for $299, also available in white. coming on July 11th to 22 countries.
In the UK, it will continue to be sold through O2, Carphone Warehouse, and Apple stores, though the price and deals have yet to be finalised.
