Could Apple be moving from "i" to "me"?
Rumours have surfaced that Apple could be launching a new branding initiative, and possibly services, using the "me.com" domain name.
Previously owned by the Snapville social network, there are a couple of signs suggesting that Apple now owns the domain name, including a link to an Apple employee, Kenneth Eddings., in the domain's DNS administrator.
It's not conclusive by any means, but speculation would suggest that Apple could be abandoning its lacklustre ".Mac" service in favour of a new, platform-neutral alternative which could be heavily pushed with the 3G iPhone and Apple's other products.
Time will tell, but we'll keep an eye on what services Apple develops over the coming few months.
