Capzule: iPhone application for physicians on the move

Webahn has announced Capzule, an iPhone-friendly web application that will allow doctors to care for their patients while away from their main surgery.

The $50 per month service lets physicians review patient files, check messages and schedules, review charts and write prescriptions.

"Our mission is to offer small practices affordable, online solutions that are efficient and easy-to-use. We want to help them deliver quality care to their patients," said CEO of Webahn, Vinu Nair. "By launching the iPhone Web application and lowering the rate plan, we hope to make Capzule.com affordable to the large number of physicians who are turned away by high price tags associated with many other electronic medical record services."
