iPhone Application Watch: New AOL Web Mail

AOL has announced a new version of its Web Mail service which, while not specifically targeted at iPhone users, includes some syncing options for Apple's device.

Key features of the new service include access to a variety of third-party email accounts including Yahoo! Mail and GMail, plus faster performance, themed skins, plug-in gallery and AOL Sync which allows users to make real-time updates to AOL Calendar and Address Book from their desktop or a variety of wireless devices including the iPhone.

The updated version of Web Mail is available at http://info.aol.co.uk/email.
