Texting challenge - Swype takes on the iPhone

Shiny Shiny mentioned a new texting technology Swype a couple of days ago, and we were very impressed. Genius Texting works on touchscreens and simply requires you to slide your finger over the keyboard to write words. Swype claim it's quicker and more accurate than traditional tap-typing and lets you text at up to 50 words per minute.

Techcrunch lined up the Swype-enabled Samsung Omnia against the iPhone in a Text-Off... watch vid above to see who wins.

Should add though that the iPhone guy appears to be a little slow and we can text faster than him. Nevertheless it would be great to see this on an iPhone very soon.

The most important question I can ask is, “Why do you feel that this type of shoe makes it acceptable for you to go out in public without proper pants on?” I truly do not understand what power Uggs have that allows them to cancel out the need for a decent covering of the female undercarriage.
