iPhone interface may allow triple finger actions
According to MacRumors, a couple of iPhone users have noticed, either through using the interface normally, or through hacking the internal files, that the iPhone multi-touch interface may allow for controls using more than two fingers.
A particular 'event name' - an event being when something happens on the iPhone such as the user touching, sweeping, or pinching the screen - is called "tripleFingerGestureTriggered".
Even if that isn't used in any current application, the beauty of the iPhone is that - so long as the hardware is capable - a software / firmware upgrade could unlock that potential.
